Hiking
Meløytind, Bolgtind and Rødøyløva are the closest and most accessible peaks. These give you a fantastic view of Helgeland. Svartisen, Lofoten, Træna and Lovund can all be seen on a fine weather day.

There is more than enough fish outside Lille Herstrand. Short distances, large fish and the sea for yourself.
Inside the mountain
Caves
It is possible to visit a cave on Meløya, it has an interesting story about a thief who lived here and robbed people in all of Northern-Norway
Beneath the sky
Northern Lights
There is little light disturbance at Lille Herstrand and it is north of the Arctic Circle. Then the Northern Lights will show extra well. A sauna session with something good to drink and the northern lights when you come out of the sea is something very special.

Our facilities described in the rental advert are there for you, boat must be rented outside of Airbnb. You can do that through us or other companies in the area.
Kaasbøll 760 HT
Large robust and practical aluminum boat with 200 HP. Space for 8 people maximum. Practical 5 pcs. Must agree to rent well in advance of arrival.
Kayak
The archipelago is perfect for paddling in a kayak. Short or longer trips, there is something for everyone. Experience the birdlife in peace and quiet. We have two kayaks for loan on the property.
Meløy Adventure
A serious business who can drive you to Støtt, take you to Svartisen, randonnee in the Meløyalpen, sightseeing by RIB etc.
Meløy Skjærgårdsferie
Rents out boats and cabins. If you are several families who want to have a bigger trip together, you can, for example, rent two cabins.
